API credits for ChatGPT Pro and Business
Released 28 Oct 2026
Paid ChatGPT Pro and Business subscriptions now come with free monthly API credits. Pro gets the price of the plan back as credit ($100, $200 or $500 a month on the three Pro tiers). Business gets $20 per paid Standard seat and $100 per Premium seat, pooled and capped at $500 a month per workspace.
You turn it on once by linking an API organisation you own (same email as your ChatGPT account, subscription at least seven days old), and it then renews with the subscription. The first grant is prorated and unused credit expires each billing cycle.
The credit covers Responses, Agents, Decisions, Realtime, Images and built-in tools. It doesn't cover Codex used through API keys and it doesn't raise ChatGPT or Codex limits. The full terms are in the Help Center article.
Who it affects Pro and Business subscribers, who get a monthly budget for API prototypes and agent experiments with no payment card on the API account. Check the exclusions before relying on it, since it doesn't cover Codex used through API keys.

Who it affects Teams wiring Bots into a shared coding workflow, who should look at the custom-mode cloud agents and shared Team Bot logins.

Faster GPU inference with LiteRT in Google Play services
Released 28 Oct 2026
Android's shared on-device runtime for custom models now runs GPU inference about 1.4x faster than the old GPU delegate, through the new CompiledModel API.
Because the runtime ships with Play services instead of inside your APK, Google says apps that switch come out about 8 MB smaller and pick up fixes automatically. There's an Android Studio LiteRT skill to help migrate.
Who it affects Android teams shipping on-device models, who can reduce app size and pick up faster GPU inference without bundling their own runtime.
